Most developers build two separate apps. One for iPhone. One for Android. Two teams, double the work, double the cost. Add in project managers and months of back and forth, and the bill adds up fast. It is not a rip-off. That is just how traditional app development works.

A web-based app works on every phone, tablet, and computer without needing to be downloaded from an app store. Tap a button, it installs, and it works just like a regular app. One build. Every device. A fraction of the cost. For most small business ideas, this is everything you need.

We build web apps for founders who have a real idea and a real budget. No big teams. No middlemen. No surprises. The same person who listens to your idea is the one who builds it. That is why our price makes sense. Not because we cut corners. Because we cut the fluff.

You fill in a short form telling us about your idea and what you are hoping to build.
We use that to check you are a good fit for what we do, and if you are, we will be in touch to book a one-hour conversation to map it all out properly.

We get to work building your app to the agreed plan.
It is hosted on your own account from day one.
You own it completely.
We deliver within 30 days of starting the build.

Your app goes live to a small group of real users for the first 14 days.
Their feedback shapes the final refinements.
This is how Oops! became what it is today.

Everything you need to own, run, and grow your app.
Login details, a plain-language guide to what you have, and your options for ongoing support if you want it.
Not every small business needs an app right now. If you are still figuring out your process or what your customers or clients move through, the right next step is getting that clear first. Come back when it is solid and we will build something that actually works.
Here is what we look for in a great SYA client:
You have a repeatable process.
It does not need a fancy name. It just needs to exist. A step your customers or clients move through consistently is the foundation everything else is built on.
You know where your customers or clients get stuck.
The moments of confusion, the questions that come up every time, the places where momentum dies. That is exactly where an app makes the most difference.
You are ready to hand the build over.
Once we agree on the scope, you trust us to build it. You will see the result, not every decision along the way. If you prefer to be involved in every step, this might not be the right fit.
You understand that Version 1 is the starting point.
Great ideas come up during testing. That is a good thing. New ideas discovered during beta become Version 2, quoted and built when you are ready. This keeps the first build clean and on time.
You have people who could test it.
Even three to five existing customers or clients willing to use it and share feedback makes the difference between a good app and a great one.

Take the self-assessment to see if you are ready
to Simplify Your App

There are a lot of ways to get an app built.
You could post on Fiverr or Upwork and hope the person who responds actually builds it themselves, stays available when something goes wrong, and is still around in six months when you need a change made.
You could hire an agency and find yourself working with an account manager who hands your project to a developer you never meet, on a timeline that keeps moving, with an invoice that keeps growing.
Some platforms will rent you an app for a monthly fee. Cancel your subscription and your app disappears. With Simplify Your App, what we build is yours. No ongoing platform fees. No risk of losing what you built. Just your app, on your hosting, in your hands.
Or you could work with a founder who builds real apps, not just quotes for them. Who scopes it, builds it, and hands it over personally. Who has skin in the game because her name and her reputation are on every single build.
That is Simplify Your App.
Your budget is not an afterthought here. The entire model was designed around building something real, at a price that makes sense for a small business owner who has a real idea and a real audience, and who does not have a corporate development budget to throw at it.
When your app is live, you are not left alone with it. You have login details, a plain-language guide to everything you own, and a direct line to the person who built it.

You describe your idea. We map what it needs. You receive a written summary within 48 hours. If you proceed to the build, this is credited in full.

The balance after your conversation credit is applied. Your app built to the agreed plan, hosted on your own account, delivered within 30 days.

30 days of real user testing and refinement. This is how good apps become great ones.

Optional monthly support for the first six months. Updates available on a pay-per-use basis after that.
The total Version 1 investment is $2,500 AUD. That is the complete number. The conversation fee of $197 is included in that total, credited when you proceed.
If you decide not to proceed after the initial conversation, you keep the written summary of your idea. The $197 stays with us as payment for the professional time that went into it. It is transferable for 12 months if your timing is not right yet.
A web app works through a browser on any phone, tablet, or computer. Your clients tap a button and it installs on their home screen just like a regular app. The difference is there is no app store involved. No waiting for Apple or Google to approve it. No asking your clients to go and find it and download it. It just works, on whatever device they already have.
Yes, but not from an app store. Your clients will receive simple step-by-step instructions for adding the app to their home screen, just like Oops! users do. It takes about 30 seconds and works on iPhones, Android phones, iPads, and computers. Once it is there, it opens and works just like any other app on their device.
Branding needs to be in place before the build begins. If you have your logo, colours, and fonts ready, we are good to go. If not, we can connect you with a brand designer as a separate step. The build timeline starts once branding is confirmed, so getting that sorted first means no delays once we are ready to build.
Small changes like wording, colours, or fixing something that is not working the way you expected are covered during the 30-day beta and refinement period. After that, simple updates are available from $47 AUD and larger changes are quoted separately. You will never be left with something broken and no way to fix it.
Yes. Completely. The app is hosted on your own account from day one. The code is yours. The data is yours. If you ever decide to move on or work with someone else, everything you need to do that is in your hands. No lock-in.
Good news: you do not need to be. The initial conversation is in plain language. The written summary you receive afterwards is in plain language. The handover at the end includes a plain-language guide to everything you own and how to use it. If Oops! can be used by people who describe themselves as hopeless with technology, your app can be too.
A website is a place people visit. An app is a tool people use. If your clients need to look something up occasionally, a website does that. If they need to move through a process, track their progress, get guided through a step, or access something quickly in a stressful moment, that is what an app is for. They are different tools for different jobs.
It happens, and it is completely normal. The way we handle it is simple. Before anything is built, we agree on the scope in writing. That becomes Version 1. New ideas that come up during the build or the beta period are captured and quoted as Version 2. This is not a rigid rule designed to frustrate you. It is a clear process designed to make sure Version 1 is finished properly before Version 2 begins.
You do not need a $50,000 budget. You do not need a technical background. You do not need to have everything figured out before you start.
You just need an idea worth building and someone who knows how to build it.
Tell us about your idea. We will review it and be in touch within two business days to let you know if it looks like a good fit.
No pressure. No obligation. Just a conversation.
