The timing is not quite right for me yet

That is useful to know

Not every great idea is ready to build right now. And not every business is ready to support a build right now. Neither of those things says anything about the quality of your idea or where you are headed.

What it does mean is that going ahead before the pieces are in place would not serve you. A build that starts too early costs more, takes longer, and rarely delivers what you imagined.

Coming back when you are ready is the smarter move. This page is here to help you get there.

Here is what being ready looks like:

  • You have a repeatable process your clients move through

  • You can describe where your clients get stuck or lose momentum

  • You are clear on what success looks like for a client who completes your program

  • You know what your clients currently do when they get stuck between sessions

  • You have a small group of people who could test your new tool

  • You are comfortable handing the build over once the scope is agreed

  • You understand that Version 1 is the agreed scope and new ideas become Version 2

  • You have a timeline in mind

  • You are aware of the investment and what it includes

  • You have accounted for the investment in your budget

If your process is not clear yet

Focus here first.

Before anything else, map out what your clients move through from start to finish. Even a rough version written in plain language is enough to start with.

If this feels hard, it is usually a sign that the methodology needs more time to solidify before it becomes a tool.

If you do not have people to test it

Building that group now means it will be ready when you are.

Even reaching out to three existing clients or community members and asking if they would be willing to try something new when it is ready is enough.

You do not need a formal arrangement. Just willing people.

If the investment is not

in the budget yet

A build that starts when the budget is stretched causes a lot of stress.

Planning for it now means that when your process is clear and your people are ready, your investment is too.
